SPYDER is built around a simple idea: the car should be part of the reason you take the trip.
We’re building a hand-picked collection of two-seat roadsters that are fun to drive, easy to enjoy and have enough personality to make an ordinary road feel different.
We don’t need twenty versions of the same rental car. We’d rather have a small collection of cars you’d actually look forward to driving.
BMW Z4
The roadster that starts it all.
A classic front-engine, rear-wheel-drive roadster with a naturally aspirated straight-six, folding hardtop and exactly two seats. Comfortable enough to disappear for a weekend, but still the kind of car that makes you take the longer road.
Porsche Boxster
Mid-engined. Flat-six. Proper Porsche.
A mid-engined, rear-wheel-drive roadster with a naturally aspirated flat-six, two seats and a roof that disappears when the weather plays along. More focused than the Z4, but still made for the same thing: taking the interesting road.
Not every convertible makes the cut.

The BMW Z4 and Porsche Boxster are the first two personalities in the SPYDER fleet — and they’re deliberately very different.
